WANT A CHANGE.(3 color locs)

This is what I am Talking about.
For the pass couple of days I am irking to go cut off my sisterlocks, the three colors are giving me a bit of uneasyness, Gray mostly in the front, black at the roots and red ends, I had a brown color before I had my sisterlocs done,so now the ends are red(did I say that before) I have an appointment tomorrow Thursday May 1, to go color the ends. When I do that I will see if it looks better, if not I might just have to cut off the locs and go back to my black and white twa, sw knows nothing of this plan so shhhh.

I can understand wanting a change. I can understand wanting to cut your hair. But your locks are coming along so nicely. I'm not one for coloring my hair but that's just me. I don't mind the gray but I know some women do. Some one once told me that as you grow older you should always go with a lighter color. Perhaps that's to minimize the contrast as the gray grows in. How long before your locks are settled enough to color all over? I have a friend that has sisterlocks and does not like her gray either so she uses a rinse as opposed to permanent color. But then her locks are mature. BTW I should not talk since I keep thinking about going back to my TWA too, at least for a short period. ;)

Hi Ja Stu!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I like your locs. It looks like they are at intermediate length which I hear can be fraught with frustration - the teenage locs!

Hope you have found a good colorist - hang in there! (Just retightened for the third time today - will post more pics soon)!

Eh Stew do what you gotta for peace of mind but, please for the time being leave out the cut off arguement!!!!

one love still
ps as quietspirit says too much invested and truth be told we all get the TWA bug from time to time

For a moment there, I thought I read that you were thinking of cutting your locks off and going back to a TWA.

Hmmm, I recently changed my glasses, so they should be working...

I know, I'm on the wrong blog!

Lawks mi chile, mi jus' a tease yu. But on a serious note, I think you should weigh your decision(s) verrry carefully. Be careful of acting out of impulse or frustration, or even insecurity. You look great! And so does your three-coloured hair.:) It's unique. It's you!

But, whatever you decide in the end, I'll still support you.

Hey girls,
Thanks to u all for stopping by and for your comments.

I am at a strange place with my locs,I am going to try and cultivate some patience if thats possible.

I washed my hair yesterday and conditioned it,no cutting no coloring,so I am going to see what happens for the next two weeks until my next shampoo.

My major problem is that I cant do much with my hair and its very plenty(nuff) and I dont like big hair.

Anyways I am going to try and just leave it alone. Its 13 months in 3 days so Ill see what happens.

OMG - what are you saying??? I know as good as anybody how going through that stage of your locks can get very frustrating. Sometimes looking at other folks long flowing locks only made the feeling worse instead of better. But you must stay focused and keep you eyes on the prize. You are half way there to probably never ever wanting to cut them off.

good to hear you, you know the thing about seeing the long flowing locs and wanting my locs to be there.
I am trying hard to wait my turn(smile)
